Attendance

Consistent attendance is essential for your child to make meaningful progress on their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals. Our special education preschool program is designed to provide daily opportunities for structured learning, social engagement, and access to vital services such as speech and occupational therapy. When students attend regularly, they can fully participate in the interventions and supports outlined in their IEP.

We understand that occasional absences are sometimes unavoidable. However, if your child is not able to attend consistently, we encourage you to reach out to your IEP team. Since IEP goals and services are developed based on the expectation of regular attendance, frequent absences may require a team meeting to review and possibly adjust the goals and services to better reflect your child’s current participation.

Our goal is to partner with families to ensure every student receives the support they need to thrive. Your child’s attendance matters—and it makes a difference.
